Twenty-five years ago, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's career took a divine turn and he's still grateful.

The two-time Golden Globe nominee posted an adorable photo Milton Davis Jr. He played Roger, a foster kid who prayed his baseball team, the California Angels, would win the pennant so that his dad would return for him. Glover starred as the Angels' manager, while Davis Jr. played Roger's friend J.P.

"Forever grateful for the experience of making that movie with such a wonderful cast and crew," Gordon-Levitt wrote of "Angels in the Outfield" in his post.

The film was one of the actor's earlier films, and as fans know, he's gone on to have a successful career. He has starred in films such as "Snowden," "50/50," and "(500) Days of Summer." He'll also be seen in the film "7500" and an untitled project from directors Henry Joost. And still, he hasn't forgotten his early work or his co-stars.
