A "Black Panther" standout is headed into the world of Agatha Christie's famed detective Hercule Poirot.

The story follows Poirot as his Cairo vacation turns into the investigation of a socialite's murder. Wright has signed on to play Rosalie Otterbourne, the daughter of a romance novelist. As one of the engers on board a steamer traveling down the Nile, she becomes embroiled in the investigation.

Wright gained widespread attention for her role as Shuri in "Black Panther." Afterward, she reprised her role in both "Guava Island," debuted this month.

Production on Fox's "Death on the Nile" is slated to begin in late September. A release date has not been announced.
