'Incredibles 2' Tops $1 Billion at Global Box Office
The theatrical run of long-awaited Pixar sequel "The Incredibles 2" has already been super, and now, the flick has hit yet another major box office milestone.
On Monday, "Incredibles 2" Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.") The sequel now stands at a jaw-dropping total of $574 million at the domestic box office, and $430 million internationally.
The second box office journey of the Parr family -- which took 14 years to make it to the big screen, following 2004's "Finding Dory"), and became the first animated film ever to top $500 million in North America. It currently sits atop the all-time domestic animated chart, and at number nine among all domestic films.
It seems there's truly nothing these supers can't do. And the flick hasn't even opened yet in markets like Japan, Spain, Italy and , where it's set to roll out in the coming weeks.
We have a feeling there just may be a third film in the works -- and audiences will almost certainly eat it up, whenever it may hit theaters.
