Apparently Twitter is the new business lunch: James Gunn.

The serendipitous online meeting was actually orchestrated by a fan, who sent a tweet imploring Gunn to cast Hamill in "Guardians Vol. 3." In response, Gunn noted that Hamill was actually his neighbor, and he invited the actor to "come over and we can talk about it over a cup of coffee."

Hamill -- who Star Wars: The Last Jedi." We don't think Gunn is going to suddenly resurrect Luke for "Guardians 3," but Hamill would obviously be a natural fit to play a wise mentor who helps guide the Guardians on their next quest.

We'll have to see if Hamill makes it into the movie before we get our hopes up, but all signs point to this being an awesome collaboration. First, though, he and Gunn need to figure out how to slide into each other's DMs.

Stay tuned.
