Molly Quinn Is 'Heartbroken' at Stana Katic Exit, But 'Nathan Fillion IS Castle'
Sadly, the behind-the-scenes drama with "Castle" is more interesting than any storyline the show has aired this season.
Two days ago, it was randomly announced that both issued a carefully worded statement on Katic's departure.
Molly C. Quinn also weighed in on the drama. She plays Castle's daughter, Alexis, who is expected to return if/when the show is renewed. Quinn actually tweeted just before Fillion posted his note. She said she was "heartbroken," but also optimistic that "Castle" can go on with just Castle:
Yesterday was a horrible day. Ya'll're right, I did work with @Stana_Katic and @tamalajones for 8 yrs. I love them.

I have 0 control over what happens @Castle_ABC
But if we come back, I promise @NathanFillion will bring all of you a damn fine show.— Molly C. Quinn (@MollyQuinn93) April 19, 2016

Sounds like she was pressured to say anything at all. She also replied to a fan who said "it's not castle without Becket."
It'll be different, way way way different, but it is #Castle@NathanFillion IS Castle. https://t.co/3oap8TeBjs

Not everyone agrees with her on that, but that's her opinion and she has a right to express it. For her part, Stana Katic returned to Twitter to share more thanks for her ers:
To the fans: thank you for your . I love you. ????✌????️
