Season 3 Plot
In this third and final season of The Life of Jesus Christ, the narrative continues after our Savior’s resurrection. Centered on the ministries of Peter and Paul, this season portrays how the gospel message was carried forward with courage and conviction in the first decades of the Church, enduring persecution, and spreading light across the ancient world.

1. Acts 3 | Peter and John Heal a Man Crippled Since Birth | The Bible
Jesus did many miracles during His time on earth, but He also gave authority to His apostles to act in His name. As described in Acts 3:1-8 in the Bible, two the Savior's apostles—Peter and John—healed a man who had a disability since birth.
2. Acts 3 | Peter Preaches and Is Arrested | The Bible
Peter preaches repentance. He also speaks of the age of restoration preceding the Second Coming. He identifies Christ as the prophet of whom Moses spoke. Peter and John are arrested and brought before the council.
3. Acts 4 | Peter and John Are Judged | The Bible
Peter and John are arrested and brought before the council. Peter testifies that salvation comes because of Christ.
4. Acts 5 | Peter and John Continue Preaching the Gospel | The Bible
The Apostles continue the miracles of Jesus.
5. Acts 6 | The Martyrdom of Stephen | The Bible
The Apostles choose seven to assist them. Stephen is tried before the council.
6. James 1 | Doers of the Word | The Bible
Be doers of the word. James 1:19–27
7. James 3 | The Tongue is of Fire | The Bible
By governing the tongue, we gain perfection.
8. Acts 10 | Peter's Revelation to Take the Gospel to the Gentiles | The Bible
Peter, in a vision, is commanded to take the gospel to the Gentiles.
9. Acts 15 | The Jerusalem Conference | The Bible
Great dissension arises at Antioch concerning circumcision. The Apostles at Jerusalem decide the issue. Paul chooses Silas as his companion.
10. Acts 17 | We Are the Offspring of God | The Bible
Paul, in Athens, preaches from Mars’ Hill about the unknown god. He says, We are the offspring of God.
11. Acts 22 | The Road to Damascus: Saul Takes His Journey | The Bible
Paul recounts the story of his conversion and also tells of seeing Jesus in a vision.
12. Acts 23 | Be of Good Cheer: The Lord Comforts Paul | The Bible
The Lord comforts Paul and says be of good cheer. The Lord tells Paul that he must bear witness of Him in Rome.
13. 1 Corinthians 13 | Charity Never Faileth | The Bible
Paul discusses the high status of charity. Charity, a pure love, excels and exceeds almost all else.
14. 1 Corinthians 3 | Ye Are the Temple of God | The Bible
The Saints are the temple of God, and if they are faithful, they will inherit all things.
15. Ephesians 4 | Unity of the Faith | The Bible
There is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. Apostles and prophets are essential to the Church.
16. 2 Timothy 4 | I Have Kept the Faith: The Apostle Paul Endures to The End | The Bible
Paul gives a solemn charge to preach the gospel in a day of apostasy.
17. 2 Corinthians 7 | Godly Sorrow Worketh Repentance | The Bible
Godly sorrow for sin leads to repentance.
18. 2 Thessalonians 2 | The Apostasy and Restoration | The Bible
Apostasy is to precede the Second Coming.
19. 1 Corinthians 12 | Resurrection of the Dead | The Bible
Paul teaches of the resurrection of the dead.
20. 2 Corinthians 5 | Reconciled to God | The Bible
The gospel reconciles man to God. God’s ministers carry the word of reconciliation to the world.
21. Ephesians 6 | The Armor of God | The Bible
Saints should put on the whole armor of God.
22. 2 Timothy 3 | The Last Days | The Bible
Paul describes the apostasy and perilous times of the last days.
23. Hebrews 11 | Substance of Faith | The Bible
By faith we understand the word and work of God. The faith of the ancients was centered in Christ. By faith, men subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, and worked miracles.
